Une belle découverte! Je me rends régulièrement à Cyangugu en mission et j'ai été très heureuse de découvrir ce nouvel hôtel. Super confortable, une cuisine délicieuse, un personnel très accueillant et par dessous tout un site sublime, parfait pour la détente après de longues journées de travail. We stayed for our anniversary weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The rooms are elegantly furnished, the staff was helpful, the food was excellent, and the beautiful view of the lake, as they say, priceless.....

RépondreSupprimerJ'ai eu le plaisir de séjourner plusieurs nuits au mois d'août 2013 dans ce paradis qui venait d'ouvrir ses portes au bord du Lac Kivu. Pour moi, le terme Paradis n'est pas surfait. Tout, tout y était parfait. L'accueil, le service (un personnel dévoué), la chambre d'une propreté irréprochable, le soin et le décor et la cuisine aussi. Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de rencontrer le patron, un "compatriote" "belgo-africain" en déplacement à Kigali à ce moment. Cette découverte était d'autant plus sensible pour moi qui étais au plein milieu d'un voyage de "retour aux sources" dans cette région d'Afrique qui m'a vu naître (à Goma) et faire mes premiers pas fin des années '50. Le Lac a toujours eu une place importante dans ma vie mais vu de cet hôtel (avec vue sur Bukavu), cette image gravée désormais dans ma mémoire ne fait que se renforcer.

I had the pleasure of staying several nights in August 2013 in that paradise that opened its doors to the shores of Lake Kivu few months before. For me, the term Paradise is not overrated. Everything, everything was perfect. The welcome, service (dedicated staff), the room was spotless, the care and the decor and the food too. I have not had the opportunity to meet the boss, a "Belgian-African" "countryman" who was travelling to Kigali at this time. This discovery was particularly sensitive for me who was in the middle of a trip "back to basics" with this area of Africa where I borned (in Goma) and take my first steps during the late '50. Lake had always an important place in my life but from this hotel (overlooking Bukavu), this image is only getting stronger.
